Overview

This course aims to give you a brief introduction to the basics of cybersecurity. Upon finishing this course, you will be able to:

• Describe what cybersecurity is, and its importance in protecting different parties,

• Explain basic terminologies with respect to cybersecurity, including common cryptographic algorithms and cyberattacks,

• Practise basic policies to protect data and systems, and

• Describe the current regulations about cybersecurity.

This 10-hour introductory course does not have any prerequisites on your computer science or programming background.
